WIP Wednesday 10. 12. 2011

Hello,

welcome to another WIP Wednesday. It seems like the list of my WIPs keeps getting longer and longer, so lets just start.

Do you remember this colorful block?
My plan is to make the whole quilt out of these QAYG log cabins, I will need 16 of them. My progress? I managed to make ONE!!! more - pretty pathetic if I say so myself.

I love how they look, I just really have to speed up my work.

I also have two quilt tops "kind of finished". I still need to add border to both of them. One is a HST zig zag quilt, the other one is my own pattern using AMH Loulouthi fabric. Both of these quilts are going to be Christmas presents, that might be the reason I'm procrastinating. It seems like I need pressure to get some things done.

Then, there are my bee blocks for October, and some other smaller projects.

But, do you want to see my biggest WIP so far? Ta - da!!!

This is what my kitchen looks like right now. Makes me cringe just looking at these pictures. Thankfully, I'm not involved in renovation in any way as far as physical work is involved. My sewing WIPs come in after all the hard work is done. I'm hoping to make new curtains, table runner, apron, potholders, and maybe even a wall hanging. Any idea for some good table runners?

I did have one finish this week, though. This is my new favorite handbag.
You can read more about it here.

Have an awesome day, Svetlana.

  9. Love your little bag! I think you're doing well to get anything finished with remodeling going on. That can be so stressful! And I also seem to get things done better under pressure, so I'll bet you have no problem finishing those quilts by Christmas. lol
