Summer Fair - a quilt and recipe show
A few days ago I came across the post announcing the first ever Summer Fair to showcase different quilts and share recipes at gen X quilters. I thought it was a fun idea and started thinking about which of my quilts I wanted to submit. I decided to go with my Ticker Tape quilt. I made it a few months ago and I love how happy and summery it is. I used mostly green, orange, and yellow fabric with white sashing. And, my children like it probably the most of all the quilts I made so far. We use it as an I Spy quilt a lot.
Here it is in a little bit more detail. Isn't it just a great way to use up lots of little scraps?
I'm linking this post to Summer Fair. I hope you'll stop by there and see all the wonderful quilts and yummy recipes.
Enjoy your day,
Svetlana

ReplyDeleteWow - great colors. A perfect summer quilt! Thanks for sharing with us at Summer Fair! AnneMarie
ReplyDeleteI love that you made a huge tickertape quilt! I've wanted to make one of these, but wasn't sure if I'd have the patience to make it big enough for a person. :D
