First, thank you soooo much for all your wonderful comments and voting on my Stacked quilt layout. I still have not decided which way to go, it seems like the votes are being split pretty much in half. I'm going to give it a few more days and hopefully start working on piecing the quilt top over the weekend.
Now on to my other projects and WIPs.
I made a few more kitty pouches. These little cuties are heading to my Etsy store, in case you're interested.
I've also wanted to give fabric stamping a try for a while and this week I finally made my Beatles loving daughter a new pencil pouch.
We both really loved how it turned out. So, that got me thinking. What if I made my husband a pouch, too?!?! You have to know, my husband is not a man purse guy, he has a chunky wallet he carries in his pocket and that's it. But he travels a lot to running races, running is something he really, really loves. I decided to use black linen/ cotton fabric for the pouch and I hand stamped a fun running quote on notebook fabric that I've been hoarding for a very long time. I'm thinking that he might keep his Garmin (a very important GPS/ watch thing that traces runner's speed, miles, etc. - my "very precise" definition) when he travels.
I will be back later this week with a tutorial on how to make your own stamped fabric appliques.
I'm also chugging along on my granny square blocks. Oh, I love working on them so much, I have 11 blocks finished so far.

Won't you stop by to see what other talented peeps are working on?
Have a wonderful day, Svetlana.
