I've been cleaning out and organizing my sewing room like a mad woman these last few days. I sorted through my fabric, ribbons, notions, and many sewing supplies I no longer knew I had, ooops :). I even found a new super fun way to store a huge supply of zippers I've managed to accumulate in the last few years (I'll share more on that later).
As I kept sorting and cleaning I realized it was time to let some things go. So I grabbed large priority flat rate box and stuffed it full of these lovely scraps, which I still like but in all honesty I know I have no time to put them to good use.
So, what do you say? Would you like to win this pile scrappy goodness? Leave me a comment saying what your favorite scrappy project is and Mr. Random and I will choose the winner tomorrow morning.
Thank you all. The giveaway is now closed.

ReplyDeleteI love to make scrappy wristlet bags -- all sizes, all shapes. I especially love selecting just the right pair of 2" x 2" scraps to cover the ends of the zipper, picking out the ones that complement/contrast with whatever fun zipper color I'm using.
Scrappy quilts and bags of course!
ReplyDeleteLovely scraps! Lately I've gone through mine and I've done some scrappy projects :) Like these door stops:

ReplyDeleteMy daughter's 9th birthday is coming up in September. I always handmake and stuff her pinata as well as all the gift bags for the girls -- I refuse to waste money on plastic junk that goes straight into the trash/landfill when the kids get home. I could definitely upcycle these scraps into some rockin' gift bags for this year's celebration :)

However, I'm also collecting strings to do a string quilt with; thanks to beth for reminding me that I also want to make a scrappy string star quilt! Hmm, I'm also going to have to use some scraps as matching or contrasting tabs for a zipper since I have several that I'm itching to use on bags (perhaps a wristlet to start my zipper journey?). Can't wait to see how you're organizing your zippers!
