And now that the "ferris wheels" part is finished, it's all about choosing the right background. Turns out this part is a lot trickier than I thought :)
First I liked the text beackground, because it goes with the chosen middle. But then I looked again, with a bright fabric your nice colors don't glow as nice as with the black fabric. I would chose the black one. Will it "destroy" the whole thing if you chose same fabric for the back like for the middles?
I don't know. I kinda like the grey floral--just so long as you don't have any grey squares and triangles on the outside to ruin the contrast. I also like dots, but there may not be enough contrast. Maybe a darker pin dot would work? I'm sure whatever you decide will be great!
Why didn't I buy some of that black seed packet fabric. Ugh! None of those backgrounds seem "just right" to me, though they'd all look good and be just fine. I like the white with black polka dots best.
I'd choose the text print. The blocks look awesome!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Good luck deciding. My vote is the black :)
