don't be crabby!

I definitely was not crabby when these lovelies arrived at my doorsteps the other day. Laurie Wisbrun and Robert Kaufman generously sent me two FQ sets of Laurie's new fabric line Don't be Crabby!

I love how happy and full of fun creatures these fabrics are. Just look at these adorable crabs.

Seriously, houndstooth patterned crabs? Beyond adorable!!! I also like that many of these fabrics can be fussy cut.

This fabric line will be available for purchase in December so I'm really glad that I get to play with it already. I'll be back later to share my project/s. I'm pretty sure it will be something boyish. And when I do, I will have a FQ bundle to give away to one lucky winner. Stay tuned...

Hope you're all having a wonderful Saturday. Svetlana

  2. Fun!!! This would make a fun baby boy quilt or a cute summer outfit for a boy! Endless possibilities!!! I used to have a stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Snappy Birthday (I think). So you could even incorporate the snappy birthday thing into it somehow for a birthday. :)

  8. YAY!!! For cute BOY fabrics; they can be so very hard to come by. Not to mention the boy patterns out there-so very few. Little man would love a new quilt in this fabric, I can not wait to see what you come up with for it:)

  11. Love the orange crabs. Reminds me of a sign in our local seaside town that says "I caught crabs in Looe" - makes me smile every time I pass it...... Though I would never wear it!
