Lucy at Charm About You had a fantastic idea. A party to swap or give away our "fugly" fabric.
It came at just the perfect time for me as I had a stack of fabric that's not really ugly but my taste in fabric changed and I had it long enough to know that I was not going to use it.
I've decided to divide my fuglies into 2 piles.
Pack #1
the fabric on the very left is a heavier, home decor weight fabric, second one is Joel Dewberry, the rest I'm not really sure about (all quilter's weight designer cotton).
Pack #2
this pack has 2 Amy Butler fabrics, Joel Dewberry, misc. rest (also quilter's weight designer cotton).
Any takers? The giveaway will be open until the 13th, I'll use Random generator on the 14th to pick 2 winners.
This giveaway is open domestically ( US ) only. I could ship it internationally, however, if you're willing to pay for the shipping. Both packs fit very nicely into USPS Priority flat rate mail envelopes.
Please leave me a comment if interested, and let me know which pack you'd like to win.
Also, won't you stop by at Lucy's linky party to see what other "fuglies" are being given away? I've already noticed some really great fabrics up for grabs.
Svetlana

Sorry, i'm having a major trouble with Random generator. I can't display the winning #s properly.

ReplyDeleteI'd love to win the first pack. Thanks for the chance to win your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteOoh I think I'd like to win the second one!
ReplyDeletethat's a nice idea. I also have fabric where my taste changed so much that I don't know if I ever use them. But I got a nice inspiration from a quilter these days: she said that every fabric will play its role in a project sometime. So I thought about making my own inspiration stack and see where it will lead me. Maybe they will become something really wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI've had so much fun scouting out what other people think of as "ugly." I would love to win the first stack of fabrics - not so ugly to me!
ReplyDeleteI love pack # 2. Thanks for the chance to add some brights to my stash.
ReplyDeletePack #2! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to have either, but if I had to choice it would be Pack #1!!!!
