I am Svetlana Sotak - wife, mother of 3, passionate quilter and sewer. I sew and quilt because I LOVE it, it relaxes me, keeps me sane, and makes me a much happier person.

I started sewing in the fall of 2010. It all began when I discovered fabric by Amy Butler and I made myself a purse using her Sweet Harmony pattern. Then, in December 2010 I made my first ever quilt. I have to say, I totally hated the process and thought I'd never make another quilt in my life. Well, I was wrong, so wrong. I am totally hooked now and have managed to finish a lot of quilts since that unhappy first encounter with quilting.
