I want to give my scrappy HSTs some much needed love and attention soon. I'm thinking of turning them into a sort of medallion quilt, this way I would not need as many HSTs as I first thought.
This quilt top has been finished since April. Wow, I think this is the longest lasting WIP I've ever had. I have a backing ready, all I need to do is baste and do some simple quilting. I'd like to donate this quilt to our local shelter as part of 100 quilts for kids organized by Katie at Swim, Bike, Quilt!.
Next on the list are my tiny 3/4" paper pieced hexagons. I really love working on this project, I'm actually surprised by how relaxing EPP can be. I've also started a new quilt using Busy Kid pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew (love Allison's patterns, by the way). I think this is such a happy quilt, just perfect for a child.
Last thing on my list of WIPs that needs my attention ASAP is my do.good stitches quilt.
Well, that's my list. I'm pretty sure that as long as I stay focused and on track it's very doable. We'll see. I'm not very good at sticking to lists, but sometimes it's just nice to have a plan.
Svetlana

ReplyDeleteAll your WIP's look beautiful. Good luck with your list!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects! I've had that busy kid quilt pattern bookmarked for quite some time too. It's very cute. Love your hexies. I have a heap of 1" hexies basted and you've inspired me to carry on. I think I'll just start sewing them together randomly and add to them over time.
ReplyDeleteLove all your WIPs, good luck getting them done :o)
ReplyDeleteThose hexies are so pretty but I couldn't imagine sewing them! What color binding are you going to use with your finished quilt? It's very fresh and modern!
ReplyDeleteI really ought to join something like this to keep me on track. Lately the projects are stacking up and making me nervous... :)
ReplyDeleteYour quilt top looks so lovely Svetlana - I love your fabric choices!
