Finish it up! update

Hi everyone,
just wanted to pop in and share an update on my Finish it up! challenge.

Last week I worked on my HST quilt. I had no idea it was going to be such a lengthy project,  especially trimming those triangles, when I started. I'm about 1/3 done. I know, I have a long way to go but at least I know exactly what design I'm working on and I started piecing the quilt. This is what I have so far

This handbag / purse is going to be a present for a friend of mine whose birthday is coming soon.

I can't even tell you how great it feels to see these projects getting done. Have you been working on some unfinished projects? I'd love to see your pictures.

  1. I know it's a pain trimming the blocks, but it sure is worth it! It's going to be a pretty quilt! I love the flower fabric on your bag! Seems like I'm always working on unfinished projects because I keep starting new ones!
