a bit of printing

Friends, I can't find any words as all the turmoil, disappointment, and utter despair of the last few days leaves me completely speechless. I did, however, want to share my newest screen printed panels with you. Hope you like what you see.

Wishing you all some peace and quiet on this beautiful fall day. Svetlana

  1. Dear Svetlana,
As usual, your work is inspiring and unique. Although I have not commented before, I wish you to know that I/we appreciate all the hard work and positive ideas that you bring to your blog and making it so freely available to us.
The upset of the last few days will pass in time and leave you stronger and yet more flexible to all the odd things that life throws in our direction.
Stay creative and true to your self, it is who you are. Best wishes, Patricia from Australia

  3. Stunning prints as always, simple and just right. I think a lot of people are doing what they love as a distraction these days. Creating positivity is always a good thing. :)

  7. Your prints are lovely. I am so grateful to you and others who have expressed themselves on their blogs. I feel less alone in reading the blogs. I just spoke with a friend who reminded me that this is like a death - the end of a dream. I had such hope for the future and now I, too, feel despair and emptiness.

  8. I'm with you 😘 Times a changing in a frightening way.....
Why don't people trust in Democracy any more, all over the world?
Why do they vote for hate and bad behavior in so many countries? I hope, love will win the day❤️
Your print is beautiful as always !!
    Kind regards, Karin

  10. I'm with you, Svetlana. It's simply devastating. I woke up with a start at 1:30 a.m. on Election night, saw the unbelievable results, and was up most of the rest of the night, unable to sleep. We'll have to look ahead ... and fight even harder.

  11. only about 1455 days until we can elect a new POTUS. I have fear for all women that it is now open season to assault us with no consequence. Since the orange one has no respect for at least half of the people of this country, I have no respect for him. All we can do is take it one day at a time.

  17. I am stunned by these comments. Do you really fear the president-elect is going to accost you? all this hatred you mentioned started long before this election. What about all the police officers being killed. The riots, looting, and destruction? Perhaps he can help to stop it. Maybe you could help there too, instead of wringing your hands and being so pessimistic. For me, the other choice was no one to admire.

    1. Yes, Kathy. I do fear all the open hatred he talked about and invited during the elections. I fear his attitude towards women, immigrants, and minorities.

  20. Hi Svetlana. From NZ you have our sympathy. I love your work, your printing, freshness and ideas. I trust you will be OK. Today in NZ we have other turmoil, earthquakes down the whole country, people dead and lots of trauma. Seems the world is having a hiccup. Thoughts and prayers with you.
